About Luna & Co. Travel and Tours
Est. approx. 2025

Officially, Luna & Co. was established in 2025, though I had been planning trips and vacations for family and friends long before that. Travel planning is nothing new to me. I only discovered I could make money at it and not give my talents away for free. I love planning travel; it is a serious passion of mine.  I get a thrill out of being about to find the best perks and upgrades for my clients!
It is my firm belief that "luxury" does not equate a price tag, but is more in how you are treated as a client.  Are you made to feel like a VIP by that online travel agency? Does Booking.com move you to the top of the priority upgrade list, like I can? When you call Booking.com (or their counterparts, including your credit card) do you get one dedicated person to assist you and personally handle your problems, while you continue on with your vacation? Or do you find yourself on perpetual hold enduring endless transfers from department to department... never to speak to the same customer service agent twice? That never happens with Luna & Co. You always get me or my receptionist. Your issues are dealt with immediately.

Booking your own travel means you miss out on the long established relationships I have with suppliers which allows me to arrange for the best prices, additional perks, and your reservation being flagged as a VIP client. You do not pay for this service, the supplier does. The only fee associated is an occasional planning fee, from me, it is nominal at aroud $200. This price does carry discounts for certain individuals, and is discussed on a case by case basis during consultation.

Part of my job as your advisor role is to get to know you, the traveler. Your likes, dislikes, preferences, dream trips, budget, what kind of trip you are looking for, etc. Some of the questions may seem odd and a bit personal, but trust me they help me give you the best experience

I am a proud single momma to a beautiful 9 year old daughter.  I do this to help us improve our lives. One day I hope to start taking her on trips with me. We are literally working hard to pull ourselves out of poverty and to a better place financially. My daughter deserves more than this and I intend to give it to her. My clients are a big part of helping us down this road. I appreciate each and everyone of you. It has been a long road to get here and I am proud of our journey so far. Join us as we rise.

Commonly Asked Questions

If you have more questions feel free to email me at lunacotravel@gmail.com

Is travel insurance included, or should I purchase it separately?

  • In my other life, I sell insurance. I absolutely recommend the best insurance you can buy. In most cases, it is not included in your travel.  Buy what you can afford and what makes sense for your situation. You never know what may happen. Protect yourself.

Can you arrange transportation, including flights, transfers, and car rentals?

  • Absolutely! I am completely full-service.

Do you provide a detailed travel guide or app for my trip?

  • Yes, I have an app I can provide to you that will show you, your itineraries, flight information (updated in real time) and even provide a private chat between you and those in your party.

My Credit Card offers points can I still use them with you?

  • YES! I can apply your credit card points. Do not worry, we will get you all hooked up.

Can't I just book my own travel?

  • Absolutely, you are certainly free to do that. Keep in mind what you are giving up by booking your own travel. You will not get the free upgrades I can offer you, the VIP treatment and special VIP designation in the hotel/cruise line system will not be in place, if you do request an upgrade you are at the bottom of the list to receive those upgrades.  You are placed well behind my clients, as my clients receive first dibs on those upgrades. Booking.com clients do not receive perks, they are considered low priority. Should a problem arise you must call a call center and deal with that nightmare, rather than just calling me to receive immediate service and care. I also review all details of your trip prior to travel in order to ensure a seamless travel experience. No one is doing that at a .com travel agency.

Isn't it expensive to hire a travel agent?

  • Actually, no. With the exception of an occasional $200 planning fee (which carries some discounts in specific circumstances, and is waived altogether in others) the ability to use a travel agent costs the client nothing. The suppliers pays us out of the money you were paying them already. In reality you have always been paying for a travel agent, you just did not know it. Our commission rates are factored into the rates of all suppliers and are just part of the charge, whether the pay out that commission or not. The rates are relatively small, around 10% for a hotel reservation. So it isn't as though the bank is breaking here.
